Red DoorAt Wild Woman
Oil on stretched canvas, 24"x16"
This painting was created based off of a small piece from 100 Days of Feeling My Feelings, an online project I completed in 2019. This larger piece was shown in my first solo show at Hotel Teatro in Denver in June 2019.
Entitled simply "Red Door," this piece symbolizes stepping into a new personal paradigm where I am allowed to feel my feelings, express my feelings, and choose new ones. The door may optically appear to be far away when in reality, you can literally reach out and touch it right here and now.
It is challenging to capture this piece's essence on camera. It is minimal and at the same time eye-catching, sure to stand out in a room.
Ready to hang: Canvas depth is 1" deep on wooden frame with white sides.
